Head over to the Google Play Store if you're on Android, or the Apple App Store if you're on iOS.
Search for and download the ReelTrak Worker app. "Reel Security by ReelTrak" may come up in your search results, however, this is the Client version of the app — make sure the app name and icon match the graphics above.
Log in easily with your mobile number. A one-time passcode will be sent to your device by text message. Enter that code when prompted for verification.
You will be prompted to accept the following permissions when you first open the app or take actions. It is important to allow all permissions for the functionality of the app:
Push Notifications: Allow
These notifications send reminders, inform you of upcoming breaks and of edits to your logged time.
Location Tracking: Always Allow
Location tracking supports safety and onsite coordination by making the team visible to HQ, Supervisors and Clients. Selecting "Always allow" means the app does not need to be open in order to update, which improves battery usage. Only active shifts are tracked.
Motion & Fitness Activity: Allow
This setting enables tracking only during movement to reduce battery usage.
💡 We care about your privacy — your location is only tracked during an active shift (the shift has been started, status is "In Progress" and has not been ended). You will always know when your location is being tracked via an indicator or notification on your phone
To manually update app location permissions, go to your device settings for iOS or Android.
Learn more about Location Permissions:

You may receive reminders (sent as push notifications to your phone) for the following reasons:
Changes to your shift including updated start/end times or locations
Upcoming breaks or required shift actions
If your time is edited or logged for you.
You’re required to review any time a Supervisor logs on your behalf or changes they make to your logged times. This is to make sure there is transparency when others adjust your time and to allow you to verify that the times are correct.
When this happens, you’ll receive a push notification informing you of the update. In the ReelTrak Worker app, a screen will pop up with the details. All Confirmations must be addressed before you can take additional action in the app.
Confirmations always identify who made the update as well as what was changed. Pay close attention to the dates and times, as edits may be from past shifts. Tap “Confirm” to accept the time, or “Change” to make adjustments.

We’ve fixed bugs and made improvements including:
📍Updated Location Tracking – if you don’t already have location permissions turned on, you’ll be directed to update your settings when you log a shift action. A new message will explain the requirements and take you to your device settings to make changes.
🗒️ Post Instructions – Now, when you start a shift that has post instructions attached, you will see those instructions after you clock in. Instructions may include web links or attachments.
📍 Updated Location Tracking
We’ve improved location tracking to further support team safety and onsite coordination. Live positioning is now shared with ReelTrak Supervisor during active shifts (only when a shift is in progress and has not been ended).
🕚 Edit Time When Logged
Now you can edit your time when you log it. This means that if you forgot to start your shift, you can simply adjust the clock to the correct time once you do start. Changes may still require Supervisor approval.
📝 Activity Log Now Includes Reasons
If a time is logged as or early or late, or requiring additional comment, those details are now visible in the Shift Details view Activity Log.
🕐 Shifts are sent to payroll as soon as they are complete and confirmed
Your tracked time is sent to payroll as soon as your shift is ended and your Supervisor confirms all your logged times. This means it is critical to address all Confirmations and verify your times before the payroll deadline. If you do not properly end your shifts or review and address pending Confirmations, your pay may be incorrect.
